Software Requirements (SRS) — Introduction
Document Purpose
This section holds the QA specification (integration_tests_specification.md) and process notes
(refactoring_plan.md) supporting Flude's requirements. The functional and non-functional requirements
themselves moved to the Requirements Catalog on 2026-08-14 — a single,
versioned authority (v1.0-mvp.md / v2.0-shipped.md / v3.0-next.md / v4.0-backlog.md / nfr.md /
traceability.md) replacing this section's former functional.md, non_functional.md,
quality_audit.md, and task_compliance.md pages, each of which is now a redirect stub at its original
URL.
System Overview
Flude is a command-line interface (CLI) tool written in Python. It parses structural API metrics and documentation from multiple configurable sources, maps them into an internal language-agnostic Intermediate Representation (IR), and outputs them into multiple target document and schema formats.
