Document Purpose​

This document specifies the complete functional and non-functional requirements for the Universal Documentation Engine (UDE).

System Overview​

UDE is a command-line interface (CLI) tool written in Python. It parses structural API metrics and documentation from multiple configurable sources, maps them into an internal language-agnostic Intermediate Representation (IR), and outputs them into multiple target document and schema formats.
